The 2010 Toyota Prius – Bigger, Yet More Frugal!

The 2010 Toyota Prius raises the stakes in the hybrid world. People buy the Prius for its amazing fuel economy.The Prius gets a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine, which is up from the past 1.5L.Due to the increase of torque, the larger engine in the new Prius has better fuel economy.The 2010 Prius has gained some more muscle in the form of 50 extra horsepower. 

The new Prius will get better fuel economy.The EPA rates the Prius at 50 MPG, but there are many who get more than that!  Nevertheless the improved fuel economy is due to the redesigned lighter stiffer body and powertrain, which has been reconfigured for less weight. Nosie and vibration are lessened due to a stiffer body.

In redesigning the Prius, engineers have successfully improved the steering by angling the wheels slightly and creating brake discs at all four corners. The new Prius comes stock with some great features such as: air, CD, and power everything. Some cool new items include a rearview camera, LED headlights, Solar Panels on the sunroof, and a Satellite Navigation System.

Heat is taken from the brakes and transformed into energy to recharge the batteries. The new Toyota Prius graduated at the highest of its class in safety standards. The Prius has some safety traits like lane departure, parking assist, and a criuse control that keeps the same distance.
